It is also considered as the largest lake in Asia, known as the "Lake of the great hollow," with crystal-clear but salty water. Depart for Kargil after breakfast and a refreshing wake-up. En route to Kargil, visit popular local spots in Leh such as the Wall of Fame, Zanskar & Indus Conuence, Pathar Sahab Gurudwara, and Magnetic Hill. The road from Leh to Lamayuru, which runs through Nimmu and Hangroo Loops, spans approximately 125 km. Travel from Lamayuru to Kargil via Fotu La, Namika La, and Mulbek. Depart for Srinagar after an early morning wake-up and a satisfying breakfast. Drass, the coldest inhabited place in India and often referred to as the gateway to Ladakh, is our rst stop on the way to Srinagar. After Drass, we'll pass over Zoji La and continue on to Sonmarg before arriving in Srinagar. Check in to the houseboat in Srinagar by evening and unwind for the rest of the day.
